Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication of SOFCs
  • Synthesis and characterization of materials for SOFC applications
  • Collaboration with external partners on SOFC research and development
  • Assistance in managing research projects
  • Overseeing daily laboratory operations, including experiments and safety protocols
  • Supervision and mentorship of researchers and students
  • Coordination with vendors and technicians to meet laboratory needs
  • Preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for ongoing research projects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., solid oxide fuel cells, defect chemistry, high temperature catalysis)
  • At least 3 years of experience in SOFCs
  • Proficiency in the fabrication and characterization of SOFCs, including TEM analysis
  • Strong expertise in defect chemistry and solid-state Ionics
  • Experience with materials characterization tools such as SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, and FIB
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and laboratory operations
  • Proven ability to supervise and mentor researchers and students
