About This Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to spearhead the implementation of Building Management System (BMS) scope for mission-critical data center projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing and overseeing various aspects of these projects, including design review, installation coordination, integration support, and quality assurance.

Your Responsibilities
  • Engineering & Documentation
    • Review and analyze BMS design drawings, control diagrams, and project specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Prepare and update engineering documents such as I/O lists, point schedules, and cable routing layouts.
    • Collaborate with design consultants, MEP teams, and vendors to resolve technical queries and concerns.
  • Installation & Coordination
    • Oversee and coordinate BMS installation works to guarantee adherence to design and safety standards.
    • Monitor subcontractor progress and quality of work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
    • Liaise with electrical, mechanical, and IT teams to facilitate seamless system integration and minimize disruptions.
  • Testing & Commissioning
    • Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to verify system functionality and performance.
    • Assist in System Integration Testing (SIT) and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) to validate system behavior and interactions.
    • Verify alarm functions, control sequences, and graphics against specifications to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Quality & Compliance
    • Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and test results to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
    • Report technical issues and propose solutions to the Senior Engineer or Project Manager to ensure prompt resolution and minimize downtime.
  • Handover & Support
    • Assist in preparing as-built drawings, operation manuals, and training materials to ensure a smooth transition and knowledge transfer.
    • Provide post-commissioning support and troubleshooting services as needed to maintain system uptime and optimize performance.
Your Qualifications

To succeed in this esteemed role, you must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in BMS projects, preferably with exposure to mission-critical environments or enterprise-level data center projects. Additionally, you should have:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering.
  • BMS platform training (e.g., Schneider, Siemens, Honeywell) is an asset.
