This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires expertise in repairing electrical equipment to component level. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in field service roles, particularly with power electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, commission, and repair power solutions and related systems at customer sites.
- Test and replace defective components to ensure the system operates according to pre-defined standards.
- Document site visits accurately, including field service reports, expenses, and overtime sheets.
- Meet quality and safety requirements at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers and third parties regarding on-site activities.
- Provide technical training and instructions to personnel at customer sites.
- Ensure efficient use of service repair equipment.
- Coordinate calibration or exchange of equipment as needed.
- Suggest system improvements to customers and work with the sales team to implement them.
- At least 4-5 years of relevant experience in repairing electrical/electronic equipment to component level.
- Experience with power electronic systems and related installation/maintenance/service procedures.
- Ability to work weekends and night shifts to ensure 24/7 availability to clients.
- High percentage of travel time required, potentially including international trips.
