This is a key role in managing procurement processes for designated projects. It involves ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and project timelines.

Main Responsibilities
  • Procurement Strategy Development:
    • Create and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.
    • Collaborate with project managers to forecast procurement needs and ensure timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.
    • Evaluate and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
  • Procurement Execution:
    • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase order creation, vendor performance tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Risk & Compliance Management:
    • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including purchase orders, supplier agreements, and contract documentation.
  • Budget & Cost Control:
    • Work closely with the finance team to manage procurement budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or timelines.
  • Asset Disposal:
    • Oversight of the disposal of project-related assets at the end of their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with organizational procedures.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a project-based role.
  • Experience in managing end-to-end procurement processes, including vendor negotiations and contract management.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and tools (SAP and Sesami preferred).
