Procurement Manager

**Job responsibilities**:

- Organizing own unit according to Aibel’s Management System, W3 (Way We Work) philosophy / principal and mobilized qualified personnel for the project.
- Ensure the work is carried out according to the applicable governing documents in W3 in the project.
- Hands-On experience in handling Equipment, Tags and Bulks packages in the FPSO project in Oil & Gas industry.
- Oversee all project procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment and services required for the project
- To prepare all the required documentation for Project Start up and Project Procurement Execution Plan for the project during FEED or Execution phase for the procurement discipline.
- Develop, implement and manage the (PMP) Project Procurement Milestone Plan based on project requirements for the Equipment, Tags & Bulks packages timelines and budgets.
- Identify, evaluate, pre-qualify and manage relationships with suppliers, including negotiating purchasing agreement and ensuring delivery performance from suppliers during the execution of the project period.
- Manage the entire project procurement cycle, from issuing of RFQ, to negotiation, recommendation of award to purchase order placement, adhering to purchasing agreement obligations with suppliers till the closing out of the packages.
- Ensure procurement process follows Aibel’s principles, compliance and is conducted appropriately with reference to Aibel Management System (Way We Work) processes (RFQ preparation, bid clarification meeting, negotiation, vendor selection/shortlisting, Joint Bid Recommendation to purchase) is in full compliance with Company procedures.
- To monitor and track Procurement cost and manage procurement budget in the project and update to the project cost control team.
- Ensure implementation of required client contract requirements and arrange contract awareness seminar / workshop for procurement personnel for the project.
- Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project procurement process.
- To ensure the packages for project for equipment/tags and bulks purchase orders for materials and/or services are going through the SAP system including the proper approval process.
- To manage the Invoice handling from the suppliers and managing the dispute resolution with the suppliers for the packages in the project.
- To manage the Close-out of packages and the purchase orders for the project.
- To contribute to or lead improvement processes within the discipline's methods and process as applicable.
- To work closely with the Project Director / Manager and other disciplines of the project in providing timely report as required for the packages (Equipment/Tags & Bulks) or other report for procurement discipline.
- Responsible for procurement discipline in handling equipment, tags or bulks packages in Oil & Gas industry.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

**Work experience requirements**:

- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in executing FEED & EPC for FPSO projects in the Oil & Gas sectors.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, processes, and best practices in the industry.
- Experienced in supplier qualification, performance evaluation, and relationship management.
- Demonstrated success in leading negotiations and secure agreement/contracts with favourable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules for project.
- High Integrity and strict in ensuring / adhering to Compliance policy or procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or procurement related or equivalent

- Effective negotiation and communication skills in managing 3rd parties / suppliers.
- Ability to perform work with a high degree of efficiency and precision.
- Must have hands-on experience, knowledge, and skills in using SAP system for reporting and analysis purposes.
