Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Specialist to handle the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient picking and packing processes, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments in a timely and organized manner.
  • Accurately maintain inventory records using our computerized system, ensuring up-to-date information at all times.
  • Efficiently pick and pack orders, meeting tight deadlines while prioritizing accuracy and quality.
  • Participate in annual stocktakes and ensure that all inventory is accurately counted and recorded.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Assist with other warehousing activities as required, including loading and unloading trucks, and operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.


Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Familiarity with handheld scanners and computerized warehouse management systems.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of warehouse software and inventory control procedures.
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and repair principles.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
