Job Title: Customer Service Executive

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service Executive to join our team at SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing shipping documentation, and ensuring smooth operations throughout the container haulage process.

Key Responsibilities:

  2. Maintain business relationships with customers, attend to their enquiries, and ensure all job requirements in their orders are fulfilled.
  3. Perform job creation for trucking activities, monitor the progress of job orders, and shipments adhere to deadlines or specified dates.
  4. Communicate customers’ trucking requirements to the staff in the Operations department for them to perform the trucking activities.
  5. Monitor jobs and provide timely updates for shipment, including updating container details into the system.
  6. Advise customers on delivery schedules and inventory.
  7. Maintain inventory reports and undertake monthly closing of trucking jobs.
  8. Assist in billing, issuance of debit notes and credit notes, and accruals.
  9. Ensure proper documentation and filling of invoices and job sheets.
  10. Assist in permit declaration for job orders when required.
  11. Attend to customers’ feedback and complaints, and work with the superior to assist with the findings and reporting of the complaints.
  12. Assist the superior to implement improvement plans for the team.
  13. Assist in ad-hoc quotation or commercial rates requests from customers.
  14. Assist the superior to gather data and perform reporting as and when required.


Requirements:

  2. Diploma or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  3. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in customer service/shipping documentation role in a 3PL company.
  4. Strong knowledge of Hauler operations, transportation logistics, and customs clearance procedures in Singapore.
  5. Experience with TradeNet is a plus.
  6. Able to perform overtime when necessary.
