Job Title: Senior Capital Markets Compliance Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a senior compliance role in our organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical part in supporting our business units by providing expert guidance on regulatory obligations and developing policies and procedures to address identified risks.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of applicable regulations and best practices, including policy and procedure frameworks;
- Conduct annual risk assessments and identify control/governance gaps, tracking remediation in relevant tools;
- Design and maintain compliance policies and procedures to address identified regulatory risks;
- Develop and deliver compliance training to stakeholders;
- Collaborate with colleagues to support our risk management strategy;
- Advise on the application of current and future regulatory requirements;
- Draft and present compliance information;
- Review, advise, and draft text from a compliance perspective for new initiatives.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A degree education;
- At least 5 years' experience in a related compliance role;
- A good understanding of capital markets business;
- A solid understanding of Singapore regulatory requirements;
- Strong presentation skills;
- Strong attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
The following skills would be advantageous:
- Compliance advisory experience;
- An understanding of Hong Kong's regulatory requirements;
- A good understanding of public/private information flows;
- An understanding of global regulatory requirements (e.g. Global FX Code; SEC; CFTC; FCA; OSFI).
