Senior QHSE Leader Position

The role of a Senior Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) leader is multifaceted and involves overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across regional operations. The position requires a high level of expertise in QHSE and leadership, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and upholding ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 standards
  • Overseeing quality, health, safety, and environmental initiatives and regulatory compliance across multiple sites
  • Leadership in workplace safety programs, fire prevention measures, and emergency preparedness
  • Supporting building, facilities, and equipment maintenance to ensure compliance and minimize risk
  • Conducting internal audits, managing non-conformances, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and external partners on QHSE matters
  • Fostering a strong safety culture and providing training, guidance, and oversight to internal teams
  • Ensuring the station's compliance with all applicable company global processes, standards, and procedures
  • Leading and coordinating incident investigations, ensuring timely reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in QHSE roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial or regional leadership position
  • Deep understanding of ISO standards and local regulatory compliance
  • Possessing relevant QHSE-related certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO, LeadAuditor, WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (or equivalent)
  • Strong audit and incident investigation experience
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work on-site in Singapore (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM), with frequent travel to Malaysia
