Job Title: India Investment Director

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned investment professional to lead our India-focused funds and co-investments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Private Equity, with experience in deal underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee investments in regional and country-focused funds, as well as co-investments across different countries and industries.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to execute fund commitments and co-investments.
  • Maintain relationships with existing fund managers and co-investments.
  • Represent the team at investor conferences, meetings with senior leadership of PE fund managers, and interactions with management teams of their portfolio companies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Private Equity or Investment Banking.
  • Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills, with the ability to conduct comprehensive research and synthesize results.
  • Good written, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Positive work attitude, high energy, drive, and initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and demonstrate maturity and integrity to interact confidently with senior colleagues.
  • Prior experience in India markets is essential.
