Cancer Care Specialist

- Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and stage cancer patients, implementing individualized treatment plans that incorporate chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed based on clinical developments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Conduct cancer screening services for at-risk individuals according to national and international guidelines.
- Recommend and interpret early detection tools, including mammograms, colonoscopies, PAP smears, and low-dose CT scans when clinically indicated.
- Counsel patients on genetic testing and coordinate multidisciplinary case reviews to support integrated cancer care.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized university, preferably in the UK or Australia.
- At least 5 years of post-specialist experience in oncology, preferably in Singapore's healthcare institutions.
- Recognized specialist accreditation in Medical Oncology, such as MRCP with Medical Oncology subspecialty training or equivalent.
- Fully registered or eligible for full registration with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC).
- Accredited as a Specialist in Medical Oncology by the Singapore Specialist Accreditation Board (SAB).
