BIM Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team as an integral part of our organization.

  • Develop and enhance models from all trades for ongoing and past model work, ensuring accuracy and consistency in our project deliverables.
  • Review and organize models and data collected from 3rd party sources (CAD & Model), verifying their quality and relevance.
  • Work on multiple discipline models and assist with QA/QC coordination, guaranteeing seamless collaboration among team members.
  • Change Order Processing and track multiple milestones through the different phases of a project, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via various channels, building strong relationships and fostering trust.
  • Evaluate project operations to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Document project issues and communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates and resolutions.
  • Assist with resource planning and develop strategies for effective working of BIM models, optimizing team performance and productivity.
  • Perform quality analysis tests to check consistency of products with plans, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Liaise with architects, clients, and engineers as needed, facilitating open communication and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Train team members on BIM model development and software usage, enhancing their skills and knowledge base.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in BIM technologies and upgrade organizational BIM models accordingly, driving innovation and excellence within our organization.
  • Manage technical teams and coordinate with senior project architects, overseeing project execution and ensuring successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Degree in Structural/Architecture/Engineering/Construction/MEP or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years' experience in building construction and project execution, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant software tools, demonstrating adaptability and technical expertise.
  • Strong technical knowledge and planning skills in managing modeling and drafting works, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Positive attitude and proactive mindset, driving motivation and enthusiasm within the team.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team under pressure, with a calm and composed demeanor.
