- Credit Assessment & Adjudication: Conduct thorough analysis of complex credit proposals, structuring and presenting insightful recommendations to senior risk executives and credit committees.
- Transaction Advisory: Provide guidance to the Front Office on structuring credit facilities that align with the bank's risk framework and prevailing market conditions.
- Portfolio Management: Proactively manage the existing credit portfolio by partnering with the business unit to ensure timely reviews, identifying potential risks.
- Due Diligence: Engage directly in client due diligence, including site visits and management meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business and its risks.
- Risk Framework & Policy: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the risk management framework, reviewing, updating, and developing local risk policies and procedures.
- Operational & Ad-Hoc Risk: Manage non-standard or urgent credit requests, assess new product proposals, and support the Head of Risk with various operational risk management duties.
- Reporting & Collaboration: Generate regular and ad-hoc risk management reports, collaborate with middle and back-office teams, and provide essential backup support for colleagues within the risk team.
