Project Manager - Cloud Migration

Sedha Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the cloud migration of our esteemed client's on-premises infrastructure and applications to AWS Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive cloud migration roadmaps, covering applications, databases, and data migration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution architects, cloud architects, IT, and business stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Lead project teams, ensuring resources are effectively allocated, dependencies are identified, and bottlenecks are resolved.
  • Ensure migration strategies comply with AWS security standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in managing IT projects, with a strong preference for GCC (Government Commercial Cloud) migration experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and security best practices.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure migration projects, particularly from on-premises to cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
