Dim Sum Team Member Job Description

The Dim Sum Assistant Chef plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Dim Sum Department. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Dim Sum Chef with daily tasks and managing the department.

  • Collaborate with the Dim Sum Chef to maintain high-quality food production and presentation.
  • Assist in menu planning, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
  • Participate in staff training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.


Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of four years of experience in traditional Cantonese/Teochew cuisine.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and regulations.
