Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Quant System Architect to lead the design and development of our next-generation low-latency algorithmic trading platform for crypto spot and derivatives markets.

This role is central to our business, combining deep expertise in trading system architecture, infrastructure strategy, and team leadership. You will work closely with trading and engineering teams to build scalable, high-performance systems that connect with both centralized and decentralized markets.

We are looking for someone who can drive infrastructure strategy across cloud (AWS), micro-services, networking, and on-prem/hybrid setups for market connectivity.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in backend/infrastructure or algo trading systems development, ideally in HFT, market-making (crypto or tradfi).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and development of low-latency algorithmic trading systems for crypto spot and derivatives markets.
  • Drive infrastructure strategy across cloud (AWS), micro-services, networking, and on-prem/hybrid setups for market connectivity.
  • Collaborate closely with quant, trading, and operations teams to turn strategies into production-ready, automated systems.
  • Own the lifecycle of algorithmic strategies: from prototyping and backtesting to live deployment and monitoring.
  • Oversee connectivity to centralized exchanges, decentralized protocols, and liquidity providers.
  • Design and optimize internal pricing, hedging, and risk management engines.
  • Implement controls for system stability, risk exposure, and latency monitoring.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of backend engineers and developers.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and at least one compiled language (ideally Rust).
  • Deep understanding of market microstructure, order book dynamics, and execution algorithms.
  • Production experience with low-latency systems, event-driven architectures, and high-throughput messaging.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with financial protocols (FIX, WebSocket, REST) and crypto exchange APIs.
  • Experience deploying market-making, arbitrage systems, or RFQ engines.
  • Experience integrating with custodians, wallet infrastructure, and on/off-ramp services.
  • Security best practices in cloud-native environments, including secrets management, access control, and audit trails.
