Job Title: Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Expert to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Monitoring and managing security infrastructure and tools, including AV, DLP, EDR, DAM, PKI, PAM, HSM, Vulnerability Scanner, and SIEM.
  2. Receiving and responding to security incidents and events via established workflows and automation tools.
  3. Acting as the escalation point for infrastructure-related incidents during office hours and providing standby/on-call support.
  4. Assisting in analysis, containment, and remediation of security incidents.
  5. Preparing and maintaining incident records, reports, and lessons learned documentation.
  6. Conducting regular vulnerability scans and assisting with patching/remediation coordination.
  7. Maintaining awareness of known threats and assisting in threat hunting activities.
  8. Helping maintain the security risk register and supporting identification of recurring issues or weak points.
  9. Generating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge articles, and technical documentation.
  10. Supporting the development of regular service and incident reports.
  11. Assisting in compliance reporting and audits.
  12. Engaging with internal and client teams to understand business requirements and provide technical support.
  13. Maintaining awareness of industry trends and security best practices.
  14. Participating in training to improve knowledge of tools and response processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 1+ year experience in IT or security operations (internship, NOC, SOC, or IT support roles are acceptable).
  • Experience working with or supporting some of the following: Trellix Endpoint Security (AV, DLP, HIPS), Carbon Black EDR, Imperva DAM, Microsoft PKI and Certificates, CyberArk and RSA 2FA, Tenable Nessus Security Center, Luna HSM (Thales), Familiarity with network and host security technologies (EDR, AV, HIPS, DLP, Firewalls), Basic understanding of SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk), PKI, and log correlation.
  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.
  • Understanding of information security principles, CIA triad, and risk assessment basics.
  • Exposure to Windows and Linux environments.
  • Ability to create basic documentation and reports.
  • Willingness to take initiative and learn from senior engineers.
