Job Title

The Student Experience and Engagement Officer position is a critical role that plays a vital part in enhancing the student experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Career Services: Provide career guidance, placement support, and coordination of internship placements to help students achieve their career goals. Develop and plan career development workshops, industry engagement events, career fairs, and leadership programs to improve employability and facilitate connections with industry leaders.
  • Alumni Relations: Foster strong relationships with alumni by engaging them in meaningful activities and keeping them informed about developments. Participate in alumni events and meetings.
  • Student Activities: Plan, review, and execute student programs in collaboration with senior management. Work closely with the Student Committee and Student Clubs to ensure safe, professional, and cost-effective activities.
  • Campus Events: Manage event planning, coordination, and execution, including student orientation, graduation ceremonies, and symposiums/seminars. Oversee logistics for new student arrival support and the peer mentor system.
  • Other Responsibilities: Build and maintain effective partnerships with industry professionals. Maintain accurate databases related to student activities and events. Produce campus newsletters for staff and students. Perform additional duties as assigned by senior management.
Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or relevant discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with student information systems or customer relationship management tools.
  • On-job training provided.
