Lead Change Risk and Control Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned risk management professional to champion the integration of risk frameworks into our digital transformation initiatives. As Lead Change Risk and Control Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our risk mitigation strategies and ensuring alignment with enterprise risk appetite and business priorities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with portfolio leaders to embed a proactive risk culture in initiative planning and design;
  • Partnering with second-line defence teams (Compliance, Operational Risk, etc.) to ensure proactive identification, management, and treatment of risks across digital initiatives/programmes;
  • Representing the digital investment portfolio in relevant risk committees, providing oversight updates, raising risk escalations, and driving the risk and control agenda across initiatives/programmes;

You will also be responsible for:

  • Driving the execution of risk governance across initiatives/programmes and ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal requirements;
  • Providing clear risk and control insights to enable informed decision-making for ongoing and upcoming technology and digital investments;
  • Collaborating across technology, operations, compliance, and business teams to ensure risks are owned, understood, and managed;
  • Promoting early intervention through data-driven insights to protect delivery integrity and risk outcomes;

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of risk management principles and practices;
  • Proven experience in leading risk management initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders;
  • The ability to drive change and influence others towards a shared goal.
