Product Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Product Service Technician to join our team.

About the Role:

The Product Service Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with servicing customer products. This includes evaluating and validating customer complaint information, repair history, troubleshooting, and contract entitlement. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service customer products, including evaluating and validating customer complaint information, repair history, and contract entitlement.
  • Create work instructions, check sheets, or other process documentation.
  • Develop familiarity with a larger subset of products and processes, and identify areas for quality and/or productivity improvement.
  • Proactively identify and implement quality and productivity improvements, and train associates in basic work assignments.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and comply with all required safety practices and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Diploma, ITE Nitec, or Higher Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, or IT.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a related field.
  • Good knowledge of electrical engineering principles and circuit analysis.
  • Able to use common hand tools and lift up to 20kg of weight with the help of equipment.
  • Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and assembly manufacturing.
