At our IT support group, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief Security Operations Manager to lead our security team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, examining, analysing, evaluating and supervising our security operations, including physical security assets and security personnel. This includes preparing reports and records for the management team, evaluating current procedures and practices, identifying and resolving recurrent security issues, and developing and implementing up-to-date digital and technological solutions for security operations improvement.
You will also be responsible for developing preventative security measures, emergency or crisis management plans, and conducting preparatory drills and training for security personnel to respond to potential security crises. Additionally, you will conduct physical assessments of premise security, including security equipment condition, and prepare reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of our security policies and procedures.
We require a degree or diploma in a relevant field, at least 10 years of relevant working experience in managing security systems, projects, and security guards, and proven experience in leading and managing a team. Experience in crowd control and managing large-scale events is an added advantage.
