Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Manager/Senior Manager at our company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering and overseeing the Future Energy Fund, established by the Government to support infrastructure investments for Singapore's energy transition towards a net-zero future.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to administer the fund, which includes allocating and disbursing funds, reporting to stakeholders, and liaising with them on investments in renewable/efficient energy, decarbonisation, and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fund Administration and Budgeting: You will be responsible for administering the fund, managing disbursement, and monitoring utilisation of the fund in accordance to established policies and procedures. You will also prepare and maintain documentation, including records of fund disbursement, project status, and outcomes.
  • Reporting and Accountability: You will prepare detailed financial reports and disclosures, progress reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to fund disbursements, utilisations, and balances. You will also ensure accounting records are recorded and maintained correctly and timely.
  • Stakeholder Management: You will collaborate with internal departments, external agencies/ministries, and recipients to ensure effective fund utilisation. You will provide guidance and support to stakeholders/applicants on fund policies, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements.
  • Policy Review and Process Optimisation: You will perform policy review in consultation with relevant government agencies/ministries and stakeholders. You will review the fund administration processes to identify areas to streamline and improve operational and administrative efficiency.

Requirements

  • Education: Education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in fund administration, project financing, or grant management, preferably in the energy sector, statutory board, government agency, or non-profit organisation.

A successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
