Job Title: Infant Educator

The role of an infant educator plays a pivotal part in laying the foundation for children's early years of growth, learning, and development.

\

This position entails creating an environment that fosters the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical well-being of infants and toddlers through high-quality care and education.

\

Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Conduct needs assessments for infants and toddlers to provide personalized care and education.\
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the quality of educational experiences.\
  • Participate in developing centre initiatives, educational programs, and projects.\
  • Develop positive relationships with parents as partners in care and education.\
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in early childhood education and continuously upgrade skills and knowledge.\
  • Model professionalism in appearance, speech, and action.\
  • Lead planning and implementation of daily developmental and caregiving tasks for a group of infants.\
  • Care for the health, hygiene, and safety needs of infants.\
  • Supervise Infant Care Assistants.\
  • Implement a developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum to provide a quality learning environment.\
  • Support centre initiatives and collaborative efforts with the community.\
  • Establish secure environments for young children through respectful, responsive, and reciprocal relationships.\

Requirements:

  • Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY).\
  • Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC).\
\

  2. Good knowledge of caregiving tasks for infants/toddlers.\
  3. PasSion for working with infants/toddlers and care/pre-school education.\
  4. Ability to work independently and possess effective problem-solving skills.\
\
