Job Summary

An AutoCAD Drafter is responsible for creating 2D and 3D perspectives or sketches, as well as preparing detailed drawings and construction documents.

  • Preparation of 2D/3D perspectives or sketches.
  • Responsible for design and preparation of detailed drawings, design development and construction documents and projects oversight.
  • Making adjustments to drawings according to feedback from engineers or architects.
  • Responsible for rendered plans and section elevations, translating concept designs into working documents for all phases of the process.
  • Technical and product research & review with design team.
  • Attends meeting with the client, consultants, and contractors and make sure that the design intent is met.
  • Presentation of design to clients
Key Responsibilities
  • Create accurate and detailed 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD.
  • Prepare and present designs to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop designs.
  • Meet project deadlines and maintain a high level of quality.
Required Skills and QualificationsCandidate Profile
  • Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or Interior Design or Architecture.
  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience.
  • Skill proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Vector software (Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator), Photoshop, Sketchup or MS Office.
  • Good knowledge of drawing preparation & organization; familiar with furniture/fabrics/lighting elements, construction materials, details methods & standards.
  • Experience in commercial and residential design work projects will be an advantage.
  • Able to converse with English and Chinese speaking clients, contractors and vendors to complete projects effectively.
  • Local working experience needed.
