Quality Inspector Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections of aircraft component parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of repairable parts components to ensure conformance to related documents and required repairs.
  • Ensure parts are repaired according to the prescribed standards and procedures.
  • Understand current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by manufacturers.
  • Conduct inspections in accordance with regulatory-approved technical data.
  • Carry out SAP transactions and make necessary changes to works orders.
  • Attend EH&S training programs and take personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.
  • Support continuous improvement programs and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Diploma in Engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in using various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids or no experience with a willingness to pursue aerospace industry experience.
  • Ability to understand basic technical instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP.
  • Meticulous with an eye for detail and adopts a hands-on approach.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
  • Good team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
