Job Overview

This is a position in the operations group that involves performing or supervising work on aircraft or aircraft components and promoting open communication with other departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of customer aircraft according to Bombardier Policies & Procedures and Aviation Authorities Rules and Regulations.
  • Inspections, adjustments, repairs, replacements, and malfunctions correction without or with power applied to the aircraft.
  • Accessing and reinstalling aircraft components obstructing task performance.
  • BASIC mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
  • Documenting work done per quality procedure manual.
  • Cleaning aircraft using approved materials, methods, and equipment, and loading/unloading ballast and/or freight as required.
  • Assisting with fueling/defueling aircraft as needed.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing assistance to Aircraft Technicians.
  • Repairing detached aircraft components such as flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors, and leading edges.
  • Working both on aircraft and in component shops.
  • Complex repairs at on-site and off-site locations, and assisting other employees in their duties within qualified areas.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years experience signing off in Singapore, with CAAS license preferred, and experience in heavy/line maintenance.
  • Holding a college diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Necessary interpersonal skills for effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Planning and organizational skills for coordinating workload around multiple tasks.
