Job Title:

Senior Trade Operations Specialist

Description:

This is a challenging role that requires an individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and experience in middle office operations. The successful candidate will have a background in institutional middle office/settlements and a broad understanding of cryptocurrency.

The key responsibilities of this role include reconciling daily P&L across trading desks, investigating mismatches and working closely with the Front Office to resolve any discrepancies. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for reviewing and verifying trade details to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems, collaborating with the OTC team to streamline current operational workflows and support automation efforts to handle increasing trade volumes efficiently, calculating and consolidating monthly brokerage data for reporting purposes and ensuring reports are accurate, timely and clearly presented, and assisting with internal and external audits by preparing and maintaining detailed trade and risk documentation.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting or a related field
  • 3-6 years of experience in middle office, trade support or P&L reporting; exposure to digital assets or structured products preferred
  • Flexibility with working hours - as this role may require availability outside standard office hours to support trading activities or reconciliations
  • Genuine interest in the crypto space, with a strong grasp of blockchain fundamentals (e.g. how transactions work, wallet infrastructure etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a fast-learning mindset
  • Organised, dependable and comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus, especially when dealing with regional counterparties or documentation
