Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to transport goods and cargo safely and efficiently.

As a Heavy Hauler, you will be responsible for planning routes and travel schedules, conducting vehicle maintenance checks, loading and unloading freight using appropriate tools and equipment, following traffic laws and safety regulations while driving, communicating with dispatchers and other staff members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules, keeping accurate records of trucking activities, interacting with clients, vendors, and other staff members professionally and courteously, completing required paperwork and documentation, handling unexpected situations calmly and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area, and possessing a Class 4 license.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Plan routes and travel schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and cargo.
  • Conduct vehicle maintenance checks to ensure trucks are in good operating condition.
  • Load and unload freight using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Follow traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other staff members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules.
  • Keep accurate records of trucking activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
  • Interact with clients, vendors, and other staff members professionally and courteously.
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation, such as bills of lading and delivery receipts.
  • Handle unexpected situations, such as traffic delays or mechanical problems, calmly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area.
