Job Description:

The Freight Transport Specialist will be responsible for transporting loads from point to point, operating prime movers and trailers. This involves daily checks on the vehicle and planning routes to ensure safe and efficient transportation.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport goods between locations in a timely and safe manner
  • Perform daily checks on vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy
  • Plan routes to optimize delivery times and minimize costs
  • Comply with all relevant safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Class 4/5 driving licence required
  • Familiarity with construction sites is an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills essential for communication with customers and colleagues
