Job Summary:

As a key member of the PAP Community Foundation team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the childcare centre's direction and achieving its short- and long-term goals. This includes clarifying the centre's mission and values to staff, setting goals, and participating in networking and collaboration with other centre schools within the cluster.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the centre's strategic plans to achieve its goals and objectives.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the well-being and development of children.

• Lead and manage a team of educators to deliver high-quality educational programmes that meet the needs of children.

• Collaborate with the Admin & Accounts Team to optimize the use of cluster financial resources and build a strong preschool programme.

• Conduct learning needs analysis and recommend professional development opportunities for staff.

• Enhance the centre's image and reputation through its quality educational programmes and organisational excellence.

• Supervise centre teachers and ensure the delivery of a meaningful, engaging, and child-centred curriculum.

• Ensure that learning is supported by a safe and conducive environment that promotes exploration, experimentation, and creativity.

• Monitor children's achievement and development, and use data-based trends to assess curriculum areas for improvement and growth.

• Lead, guide, and inspire staff to contribute their creativity, expertise, and skills towards delivering a curriculum that meets children's needs.

• Responsible for day-to-day HR activities, including recruitment, orientation, performance appraisal, and exit interviews.

• Create a safe learning environment and provide the best possible care to children under their charge.

• Perform projects allocated by the Management.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 GCE 'O' Level credits with grade B4 in EL1 and

• Diploma in Pre-school Education – Teaching (DPE-T) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T), or equivalent recognised by ECDA and

• Diploma in Pre-school Education – Leadership (DPE-L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Leadership (DECCE-L), or equivalent recognised by ECDA and/or

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood

• Min. 2 years experience in a preschool setting
