Job Title: Commercial Space Manager

The Commercial Space Manager role involves overseeing the leasing strategies and trade mix plans for commercial activities across various spaces and properties. This includes managing existing tenancies and attracting new clients to maximize revenue potential.

This role requires a strong leader who can establish networks with tenants, agents, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and enhance property values.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective leasing strategies and trade mix plans for commercial properties
  2. Ensure all available space is leased in an appropriate, timely, and effective manner by planning and implementing the tenancy mix
  3. Conduct market research and analyze periodic retail market rental information and trends
  4. Source prospective tenants, generate new leasing leads, and negotiate lease terms
  5. Monitor compliance with SOPs, local authorities' building standards, and requirements
  6. Establish networking channels with prospective and existing tenants and real estate marketing agents
  7. Prepare weekly/monthly leasing reports and assist in budgeting
Qualifications & Work Experience:
  • Degree in Business, Real Estate, or related fields
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in retail property leasing/marketing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
  • Prior knowledge of local planning regulations, land laws, and Tenancy Agreements

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
