Job Description:

As an Instrumentation and Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial processes. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, test, and implement instrumented control systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing instrumented control systems that meet client requirements
  • Testing and commissioning instrumented control systems to ensure they operate as expected
  • Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients on instrumented control systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Professional accreditation or affiliation to professional bodies of engineers (optional)
  • At least eight years of practical experience in an instrument & control maintenance / design function in an oil & gas or petrochemical plant
  • Expert knowledge of electrical & instrument international engineering design
  • Experience with PLC programming software and languages (Siemens PLC an advantage)
