Food Production Supervisor Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of food products from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective production plans to ensure timely and efficient production of food products.
  • Schedule and assign personnel to work stations as needed to meet production demands.
  • Monitor and control production costs to ensure they remain within budget.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all food products meet our high standards.
  • Train and develop new employees to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties effectively.
  • Implement and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in food production or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in food science, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with inventory management and control.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
