Construction Design Engineer Position

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced Design Engineer to develop innovative construction design solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in civil and structural engineering to create practical and effective designs for various projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting detailed analysis and design of complex civil and structural components, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop well-rounded design solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Producing high-quality technical drawings, reports, and specifications to support project progress.
  • Evaluating designs against relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Providing on-site support during construction phases and assisting in resolving any issues that may arise.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in specialist building works, preferably with a focus on construction engineering.
  • Proficiency in widely used engineering design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, SAADPRO, and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's structural codes and regulations.
