Theatre Service Crew Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Service Crew member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the theatre, and assisting with various tasks as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Sell Tickets and Concessions: Sell tickets and concessions to customers, including popcorn and drinks.
  • Greet Customers: Greet customers and provide information about movies, showtimes, and other cinema services.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensure the theatre is clean and tidy at all times, including the lobby, restrooms, and theatre.
  • Assist Customers: Provide assistance to customers with special needs, such as wheelchair access or hearing-impaired devices.
  • Handle Customer Complaints: Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
  • Basic Projection Duties: Assist with the projection of movies, such as starting and stopping the film and adjusting the volume.
  • Handle Cash Transactions: Handle cash transactions, including counting and reconciling cash at the end of their shift.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be interacting with customers on a daily basis.
  • Team Player: A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are necessary for success in this position.
  • Attention to Detail: You must have attention to detail and be able to multitask effectively.
