Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Workplace Safety Specialist to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate should be registered with the Ministry of Manpower (Singapore) as a Safety Officer/Workplace Safety & Health Officer.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety programs to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to advise on work plans, risk assessments, and safe work procedures.
  • Lead by example and instill a safe work culture among team members.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and compile reports and records as required.
  • Participate in OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 implementation and audit processes.


Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess professional knowledge in WSHE legislation and regulations, specifically the WSH Act and Environment. A Diploma in Building/Civil/Structural Engineering is required, along with at least 8 years of experience as a WSHO/W SHC in Singapore. Additionally, the following skills and qualifications are essential:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation, initiative, and responsibility are key qualities for this role.
