Senior Backend Systems Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend systems that power our applications.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, as well as providing expert technical advice and guidance to customers and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain backend systems with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement new features and functionality.
  • Provide expert technical advice and guidance to customers and project teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Information Technology (IT) from a recognized institution.
  • Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems.
  • Expertise in Linux and Windows Server operating systems, including CIS hardening and configuration management.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and architectures, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
