About the Role

This role is based in Singapore and reports directly to the Global Finance Director. As a key member of the Direct and Indirect Procurement team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of the Procurement strategic objectives. Your financial analysis and insights will inform senior management decision-making, and you will work closely with the Procurement leadership and key stakeholders to drive savings initiatives and optimize financial resources.

Core Accountabilities
  1. Design and build the Direct and Indirect Procurement Finance organization.
  2. Support the Chief Procurement Officer with financial analysis and reporting, including cost assessments and recommendations.
  3. Lead the business in reviewing and managing cost targets across commodities, owning and managing Procurement cost savings KPIs, and driving actions across commodity teams.
  4. Engage with Finance, Indirect Procurement, and corporate functions to develop a framework for collaboration.
  5. Participate in supplier negotiations and contract management to achieve cost savings and optimize financial outcomes.
  6. Develop competitive benchmarking processes and savings definitions, including an interlock process.
  7. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
  8. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.
About You
  1. At least 10 years of relevant work experience.
  2. A bias for action, with high levels of resilience and drive, able to see the strategic big picture and roll up sleeves to deliver financial projects.
  3. Energetic, engaging, and pacey, with high EQ and the ability to motivate and inspire in a matrixed environment.
  4. Clear communicator, decisive, and excellent influencer.
  5. Able to challenge all areas of activity and recommend new approaches to meet financial objectives.
  6. Strong team player and sound management skills, with a visible and inspiring leadership style at both local and international/regional levels.
  7. Assertive, decisive, prepared to see through plans and overcome objections, yet flexible around change and comfortable with ambiguity.
