Highly Skilled Equipment Specialist Wanted

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting services to complex equipment in life science and healthcare environments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup of new equipment according to established protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs following safety guidelines.
- Implement corrective actions as required.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Follow established service protocols and complete checklists and service reports as needed.
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Service department.
- Provide excellent customer service by keeping clients informed about equipment condition and upcoming maintenance needs.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management as required.
Requirements:
- Candidates with an associate's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering are preferred.
- A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is essential.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in field service for industrial equipment is required.
- Experience in the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- The ability to interpret service manuals and follow maintenance guidelines is necessary.
- The ideal candidate will be hardworking, team-oriented, independent, hands-on, customer-focused, and have good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in both verbal and written English is required.
Tech Requirements:
- Familiarity with electrical systems design.
- Knowledge of corrective actions and technical inspection procedures.
- Understanding of industrial engineering principles.
- Experience with equipment maintenance and installations.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry processes is an asset.
