Job Title: Technical Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and commissioning satellite communication (SATCOM) systems and network infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive SATCOM system architecture and designs to meet contractual and project requirements.
  • Perform thorough technical analysis and verification to validate system design and implementation.
  • Conduct design reviews and presentations with customers to ensure alignment with their needs.
  • Lead proof of concepts and support overseas trials or demos to test system functionality.
  • Configure and test SATCOM systems, including acceptance, interface, and performance testing to ensure high-quality results.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues through root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Provide timely project documentation and reports to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in SATCOM or a related field.
  • Proven track record in large-scale project implementation and delivery.
  • Familiarity with iDirect or other modem brands is an asset.
  • Ability to perform link budget analysis to optimize system performance.
  • Experience with test tools such as spectrum analyzers and network testers.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work independently and deliver results under tight deadlines.
