Montessori Language Guide: A Key Role in Early Childhood Education
The role of a Montessori language guide is to create an engaging and supportive learning environment for young children aged 2–6 years. This position requires a deep understanding of Montessori philosophy and principles, as well as effective communication skills.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to lead our Model Montessori Classroom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining an inviting, safe, and orderly learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of our students.
Main Responsibilities
- Classroom Management: Develop and implement strategies to ensure a smooth and efficient learning process, promoting independence and self-motivation in students.
- Lesson Planning: Create and deliver engaging Montessori lessons aligned with our training standards, ensuring sequential progression and meaningful outcomes.
- Child Supervision: Provide constant supervision and safety for children, adhering to city-mandated teacher-to-child ratios and creating a secure atmosphere.
- Parent Communication: Establish regular, personalized communication with parents using approved platforms, fostering strong relationships and trust.
- Staff Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Assistant Guides and other staff members to provide a consistently high-quality learning experience.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- A MACTE-accredited Montessori Diploma (AMI or AMS preferred).
- Minimum 3 years' experience working with children aged 2–6 years.
- Deep passion for Montessori education and philosophy.
- Fluency in English or Mandarin.
