Trade Finance Specialist Job Description

The role of a Trade Finance Specialist involves managing and coordinating trade finance transactions, ensuring smooth execution and minimizing risks. This includes negotiating contract terms, monitoring payments, and maintaining relationships with suppliers, buyers, and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalize contracts for sales and purchase transactions.
  • Handle import/export letters of credit, remittances, and other trade finance transactions.
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of transactions.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow movements, updating facility limits and utilization as necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
