We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Chargeback and Operations to join our team at United Overseas Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end chargeback process, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of disputed transactions in compliance with schemes regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of chargeback professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their targets and deliver high-quality results.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve chargeback processes, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations to senior management on changes to operational procedures.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including risk and compliance teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or finance.
- At least 5 years of experience in retail banking operations, with a focus on cards charge back processing and/or unsecured operations.
- Strong knowledge of cards schemes dispute rules and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners.
