Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team in Brunei. This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of maintenance engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other technical personnel responsible for rotating and static equipment.

The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance of equipment in downstream petrochemical, oil & gas, and process plant environments. They will troubleshoot complex mechanical issues related to rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, blowers, fans, turbines, agitators, mechanical seals, gear systems, conveying systems, and centrifuges.

Additionally, they will supervise maintenance of static equipment including pressure safety valves (PSVs), valves, pipelines, reactors, columns, tanks, and heat exchangers. The Assistant Maintenance Manager will also guide the planning and scheduling team in using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) for resource management, work scheduling, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience in a related field. They should have at least 12 years of relevant maintenance experience in downstream petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial process plant sectors. A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity leading maintenance teams is required.
