**The Position**:
POSH SUBSEA is a specialist offshore subsea solutions provider that supports upstream oil and gas and renewable energy operations in key markets worldwide. These solutions include providing support to subsea operations and execute subsea turnkey projects,.
We are currently looking for an equipment manager who manages and controls all diving equipment (portable and inbuilt on DSVs), certification and supports onshore and offshore operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- In liaison with the Dive Tech Supervisors / Senior Technicians onshore and offshore, The Equipment Manager is responsible for making sure that the PMS and certification (DO23 and DO24) for both Air and Saturation Dive Systems are carried out correctly and kept up to date.
- Ensure all 3rd party audits (i.e. Class Annual Audits, DO23- DO24 Annual Audits, Load Testing and Pressure Testing of the Dive Systems) are performed in accordance with the audit schedule.
- Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the equipment.
- Management of diving technical personnel in the office.
- Work with procurement for timely ordering of spares and materials required for maintenance of the equipment.
- Monitors and tracks equipment on a daily basis by job site.
- Preparing and submitting detailed equipment requisition lists for mobilization and ensuring equipment is mobilized on time in accordance with company procedures.
- Manage, review and allocate budgets for maintenance and refurbishment of diving systems (OPEX).
- Work closely with company’s operations department to ensure the identification of equipment and consumable requirements for each diving project.
- Manage all major asset purchases for diving department (CAPEX).
- Review all diving related documentation regularly. Ensure all documentation adheres to company document control and quality requirements.
- Conduct assessments and compile reports as required.
- Formulate and submit procedures in accordance with Company and Client requirements.
- Ensure personnel with right qualification and competence are employed onboard the diving vessels/sites and onshore.
- For briefing all base and offshore supervisory personnel in all relevant details of the contract or client specifications / requirements and to ensure that all personnel meet contractual requirements as set out by the operation department.
- Incorporating required safety features into the development of all equipment specifications and project documentation.
- Maintaining knowledge of applicable safety regulations and standards and incorporating these requirements into all equipment specifications and maintenance routines.
- Maintaining knowledge of hazards or potential hazards of operating equipment and taking action to ensure these have been eliminated prior to deployment of equipment on worksites and vessels.
- Providing equipment operating knowledge into any project or marine asset risk management exercise.
- “Stop Work” anytime any employee identifies or feels a condition or situation is unsafe or not environmentally sound.
- Assisting in employee training on project equipment / systems as necessary.
- Coordinating selection and oversight management of equipment in accordance with the procurement and approved supplier processes.
- Periodically inspecting equipment for compliance with work rules and HSE standards.
- Participating/helping in any investigations related to reported incidents, accidents and injuries, helping to comply the necessary reports and initiating any control action as required in project procedures.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Previous diving or technician experience is essential.
- At least 15 years’ experience in managing and controlling diving equipment out of which 5 years in capacity of a manager or superintendent.
