Faculty Position in Games

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate academic to join our faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor in Games. This tenure-track position is part of our ongoing efforts to build a world-class research and teaching program in this exciting field.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a scholar with expertise in games design, development, and technologies to contribute to our vibrant research culture and teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of research productivity, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to mentoring students.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct innovative research in games and game-related areas
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in games design, development, and technologies
  • Mentor students in their research and creative projects
  • Participate in departmental service and committee work
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as computer science, game studies, or a related discipline. A strong portfolio of research output, including publications and conference presentations, is essential. Experience in teaching and mentoring students is also highly desirable.

The successful candidate will have expertise in one or more areas of games, including but not limited to game design, development, and technologies. They will also have a strong understanding of the current trends and challenges in the field, as well as the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
