Job Title: Geospatial Analyst for Climate Change Research.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Geospatial Analyst to join our research team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geospatial analysis, remote sensing, and climate change research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze satellite data to understand natural hazards and disasters across Southeast Asia.
  • Develop and conduct research projects independently and as part of a team.
  • Write up research results for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
  • Collaborate with other researchers to develop algorithms and systems for disaster mapping and climate change.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Earth science, geophysics, geodesy, physics, civil/electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Expertise in processing SAR data using open-source tools such as ISCE or GMTSAR.
  • Demonstrated track record of publishing research relevant to the position in Tier 1 journals.
  • Evidence of ability to write and present at the level required for peer-reviewed scientific journals and international conferences.
