System Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to lead our SOC system architecture efforts.

  • Design and develop the architecture of complex systems, ensuring they meet product requirements.
  • Create test plans for system functionality.
  • Collaborate with IC design engineers to define specifications for new hardware modules.
  • Analyze existing hardware module designs and suggest improvements.
  • Perform FPGA validation before tape-out and silicon verification after tape-out.
About the Job

This role is responsible for designing and developing the architecture of complex systems, ensuring they meet product requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet customer needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Understand product requirements and develop system-level architecture in line with these needs.
  • Create test plans for system functionality.
  • Collaborate with IC design engineers to define specifications for new hardware modules.
  • Work together with IC design engineers to resolve design-phase issues and qualify the design.
  • Analyze existing hardware module designs and suggest improvements.
  • Perform FPGA validation before tape-out and silicon verification after tape-out.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering with firmware development experience.
  • Familiarity with SOC design, including bus architecture, memory subsystem, video signal processing, etc.
  • Knowledge of standard peripherals, such as UART, I2C, SPI, I2S, PWM, SD, flash controller, etc.
  • Familiarity with IC design activities, such as RTL coding, timing analysis, etc.
  • Familiarity with lab equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
