**Job Title:** Mechanical Draftsperson

 

The role of a Design Engineer involves creating detailed mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, 2D models, and 3D designs for construction projects. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop detailed engineering drawings and models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and Revit (or equivalent 3D drawing software).
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure that designs meet the required standards.
  • Manage drawing versions, update records, and ensure access to accurate information.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry specifications, including Singapore PUB specifications.
  • Participate in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of practical experience in mechanical and electrical engineering drafting.
  • Proficiency in operating CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and Revit (or equivalent 3D drawing software).
  • Strong understanding of Singapore PUB specifications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
