Electrical Drafting Specialist

As an Electrical Drafting Specialist, you will play a critical role in the design and development of electrical systems for various projects. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare detailed electrical layout drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematics, and cable routing plans.
- Develop and update electrical shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain and organize CAD files, drawing logs, and project documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating with electrical engineers, site supervisors, and other disciplines to ensure proper integration of electrical systems. This includes:
- Liaising with electrical engineers to incorporate design changes, markups, and feedback into updated drawings.
- Coordinating with procurement and vendors for technical documentation, equipment details, and delivery schedules.
- Tracking project progress and assisting in preparing reports, schedules, and status updates.
- Supporting in managing RFIs (Request for Information), submittals, and document control.
- Attending coordination meetings, preparing minutes, and following up on action items.
The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills in Revit, Technical Documentation, AutoCAD Engineering, Construction, Asbuilt Drawings, BIM, Drawing, Electrical, Compliance, Autocad 2d, AutoCAD, Layout, CAD, and Autocad Electrical.
